WINFIELD -- Strong competition and heat proved to be strenuous on Kansas Wesleyan's Cross Country teams this weekend in Winfield for the NAIA Mid-States Classic.

Coyote Cross Country was hot on the trail this week at Lawrence's Rim Rock Farm at the NAIA Preview Meet. The men faced 31 teams while the women faced 32. This is the first meet of the year where teams faced off against only NAIA competition.
